Look Proof See - Casualty
After impressing the likes of Steve Lamacq and Fearne Cotton earlier this year with their debut single and wowing the crowds at Glastonbury, the Look Proof See guys are back with a new track called 'Casualty'.
'Casualty' is instantly catchy and is bound to start clogging up the airwaves of radio stations across the country with its indie meet pop sound and its summery vibe. 'Casualty' is definitely the strongest single I have heard from the Look See Proof guys and it's surprising that they decided to release it as their third single rather as their debut. B-side 'Between Here & There' doesn't instantly likable like 'Casualty', in fact, the two tracks sound totally different and it's quite hard to imagine the same audience listening to both. On the plus side, the diversity of their sound goes to show that they don't want to be pigeonholed into one genre and that they are not one trick ponies.
Look See Proof have raised the bar with 'Casualty' and if the can continue to make tunes of its calibre they should have a very bright future ahead of them.
