Sensationalists would, by now, be deeming Ruth Theodore as the most immense thing to hit the U.K. in the past decade; but gladly I'm not a sensationalist. Granted she has an inventive approach to her performance and writing aspects, but Ruth Theodore will, more than likely, never get the credit she deserves for her forward-thinking and innovation.
"Worm Food" captures her cryptic lyricism and undeniable uniqueness. This, her debut single, shows promise but frankly it's unlikely to be to everyone's tastes.
