The duality of man in under five minutes.

Mental health is something often found in music, but BC Camplight takes it a step further than most. "Suffer For Two" is a tale of living with schizophrenia and dealing with the dark side of its consequences. But rather than being a moody, morose single, BC Camplight treats us to a sunny musical accompaniment that echoes the greats like Burt Bacharach and Brian Wilson.

Thundering but bouncy piano sets us on a safe string laden journey that puts you in mind of summer days, lying out on the lawn and drinking lemonade. It really is that uplifting and optimistic. It's only when the lyrics are listened to carefully that the duality of this song becomes apparent. "Suffer For Two" does not hold any punches – it is written to challenge conceptions of mental health and it does this with conviction and, importantly, humour. It's an interesting, engaging experience, and one that should be had.
