Try a baguette instead

Bad Sandwich are a (terribly named) UK funk rock crossover band and if that doesn't have you running for the hills then a couple of plays of this single will probably do the trick.

'Tablets 4 Tissues' is quirky funk, in it's favour it has a bit more life about it than the Chilli Peppers usual boring efforts but the Chili's usually manage to pull out a great chorus & unfortunately 'Bad Sandwich' don't. It rambles along fairly aimlessly & where you can imagine they get quite a groove going with some heavy bass in the live environment it doesn't really come over on record too well. Following track 'Get a Grip' exemplifies what the problem for 'Bad Sandwich' really is & that's the vocals, funk/rock fusion just doesn't work with quite high pitched and very English sounding singing. It does have something of a catchy chorus and the drums work better with the bass on this one but they sound lightweight and lacking in soul, that indescribable element that people like James Brown just had going for them all the time.

'Dark Squid' is more of the same really, some nice slap bass but the same old guitar sound and whilst the vocals do work better here they still lack a really killer tune. Fair enough there are only three tracks to go on here but Bad Sandwich already seem like a one trick pony, there's zero variety and the novelty wears off very quickly.
