Stripped bare.

"Say It Again" is a single with the mid heavy straight forward sound of an indie-rock band that doesn't really want to rock out. It feels like they're trying not to offend anybody by being too loud or quirky. The problem is by playing it safe Lucius have created a track that doesn't really go anywhere other than over your head; it's always on the edge of your level of consciousness, not loud enough or dreamy enough or interesting enough to warrant more than a third of your attention span.

Think of an Ian Brown track before the catchy chorus and you're half way there; while you wait around for the tune to get going or do something you don't expect, your mind has wandered off. Overall, it's irritatingly repetitive and the lyrics are very generic; basically it's a bit dull.
