Make it Better Later - Clive EP
Make it better later are a ska/pop punk band from York. Their new ep, “Clive” was released on the 3rd of December and is certainly an interesting track to release.
The track offers changes in dynamic from slow funky rhythms in the verses to the exciting and lifting chorus. However the track is short and is limited to these dynamics. This did however give the track an intriguing appeal as I found myself wanting to hear more, wondering whether this band did have more to offer.
The track’s stand out moment is the chorus when the pace is lifted and harmonies which are absent in the verses bring out a new life in the band. The highlight of the track is this chorus and certainly shows a band with promise, and a good musical ability.
This band is certainly worth checking out even if you’re not a fan of this release.
