Something a bit different here

The Kaiser Chiefs have that rock/avant-garde sound that, in the verses, is very reminiscent of early Pink Floyd, but puts the punch in the chorus.

This is a sound, although not for everyone, that is certainly going to appeal to a large section of music lovers. It's one of those tunes that once heard, you'll have it in your head. "Born to be a Dancer" carries this musical thread on, but it's not to the standard of "Oh My God" - a Door- like number with a good beat and a chorus full of Jim's spirit.

"Caroline, Yes" is the diamond here. It has a chilled, sixties sound without any commercial overtones. This number reflects the more avant-garde nature that's in the heart of this group.
