Jack in a box

Here I am presented with a slight dilemma. Stillman’s voice is something of a treat. An expensive box of soft, velvet like chocolates. It drips from word to word with grace and ease. This comforting attribute is a softening lyric conversion., it creates mood and sets scenes. But where I am torn is the oh-so stereotypically American movie like acoustic guitar. This unrooted string plucking creates a colossal whirl of cliché which sadly transforms the track into the wrong direction.

But surely my opinion on the guitar is purely personal, but it just disturbs me slightly. Opening up it is almost like a Teenage Fan Club classic with a preciously delivered voice and a build up of distortion, which fails to slam in as I expected, it is then followed by an unnecessary guitar solo which is potent is lack of positioning and requirement.
