James Severy is a fairly new name floating around the music industry at the minute. But, I am certain this is going to be a name to look out for, especially regarding the “Circus Circus” attachment to it.

With this release, he has looked in the most obvious of places for lyrical inspiration; his own life, with experiences of going out and staying in among other things. These lyrics work so well along side the vocals, which are to some extent reminiscent of Razorlight’s front man.

When situated next to the beat, the track sounds quite good. In the musical aspect he has gone with a practically acoustic element, which is rather striking. The introductory jumpy little beat is an excellent way of grabbing the attention of a listener and the track continues to do just that through out.

I enjoyed listing to ‘Do The Circus Circus,’ even though I was a little bewildered by the title.
