Firm Thumbs Down

The cover of Dels single release is this funny little drawing of a boy with a crow on his head. With an indie look like that, I thought he would have something interesting or at least worthwhile to say. I was very wrong. In fact, he's actually just a mainstream rap artist. I listened to his two singles a bunch of times trying to figure out if it was self-reflexive, as if he was making fun of the rap scene in a really complicated way. I was hoping with all my heart that he was kidding, but he isn't. And now I've wasted my time listening to this douchebag singing: "should I pull a girl to chill with, get rid of lance". Another treasured memory is when Dels raps about chasing away "hos" at the club while he drinks "brandy and coke" and people talk about how he is going to be famous.

So, Dels is a very very boring mainstream rap musician posing as an artist devoted to the independent scene. I really don't want to analyze why I hate this artist so much. I've already wasted enough time listening to him rail against the injustices of being a player and bitches not understanding his infallible masculinity. Fuck. Goodbye one hour of my time. I wish he was making fun of something, or was smart enough to make fun of himself while pretending to be serious about his douchebaggery.

Here is a list of things I would have preferred doing instead of listening to Dels:
· Brushing my teeth
· Touching myself
· Brushing my hair
· Touching myself again
· Watching Coronation Street
· Getting punched in the stomach by a circus performer (hopefully a clown)
· Watching a movie about a family watching a movie

Anyways, I have to give Dels a thumbs down. Don't buy this album. Don't even download it. Forget Dels name, or, rather, just remember him as something you want to avoid. And now I've wasted more time reviewing him, but that waste has a purpose: to save you from wasting your time listening to him.
