Sarah Mcleod - White Horse
Some of you may remember a band called The Superjesus, if you do then you may also remember their frontwoman Sarah Mcleod, well, now she’s back with a new solo single ‘White Horse’.
The Sydney based songstress is apparently a bit of a rock goddess back in Australia, to me she sounds a lot like Lindsay Lohan who is nowhere near becoming a rock goddess, but in fairness to Sarah, she does look a thousand times cooler than Miss Lohan.
‘White Horse’ to me is more like radio friendly pop than rock, sure there’s a rocky edge but it is very watered down. The b-sides on this single are much stronger than the original track, they are remixes and it’s with these remixes she’ll reach a diverse audience.
There’s no doubt in my mind that a lot of people are going to get to know Sarah Mcleod’s name this year, but that will be thanks to the clever remixes of ‘White Horse’. I’d be interested to hear more from Mcleod as she does have the potential to become something very good.
