The eyes have it.

Scottish quartet To Catch A Thief are pleasingly melodic and catchy, sounding quite a bit like Inme but with a more direct pop edge; they’re not afraid to go for the emotional jugular and their hooky tunes immediately have you reaching for your dancing shoes.

’Until I Wake Up’ is instantly memorable, the emote-along-chorus makes you go all gooey as soon as you hear it. ‘A Passing Phase’ is if possible even more fevered and energy fuelled, it’s hard to imagine any more passion being injected into these tunes, this track sounds as if it’s about to ignite into flames. ‘Your Eyes Will Burn’ sees Ali Lane in an almost frenzied mood at times; some excellent riffs keep him in check though. ‘We Are The Cancer’ has a great opening riff and bass line before launching into one of the most melodic tracks on the EP and ‘Demons At My Side’ takes an upbeat tune and injects a quirky off kilter rhythm to spice things up.
