Quirky Pop At Its Best
‘This Band Has Eaten All Our Money’ is a triumphant, fractious slice of thick and catchy indie pop that spits stylish riffs and brash vocals. From the outset guitars scream out over fast paced beats and offkilter vocals that sound like they’ve just been unleashed from a wacky theatre. Everything about the tune is fun and frivolous with some fabulous flighty, fast-fingered guitarwork that sounds like the guitar is having a real field day. The tune is less than 2 minutes long but you get plenty of fun indie kicks for your money and you’ll be practically panting as you try to keep up with the unrelenting energy that 28 Costumes have to offer.
Liverpool’s 28 Costumes are fun, quirky pop at its finest and their album due in Summer 2009 should be well worth the wait.
