The Harringtons - Set In Our Ways
Barnsley four piece, The Harringtons, release 'Set In Our Ways', a song that showcases their potential of being one of the up and coming bands that deserved to be noticed. Not that this will be a surprise to any of their army of fans from South Yorkshire and beyond.
'Set In Our Ways' is a five minute introduction of the bands indie rock style, that goes beyond what their age suggests the should be producing. The one minute intro setting the scene perfectly with all guitars blazing and when the vocals kick in we are treated to an anguished song which actually does have real meaning to the lyrics. The only thing that does let them down is the band name, far too common and does not help them stand out like their music suggests they should.
Currently The Harringtons have only one gig scheduled outside of Yorkshire, in the capital. Expect to see a lot more of them in the very near future.
