The band started when Darin left Michigan to attend Rosedale Bible School and met up with Brian and Grant. In 2000 they 'got it rolling' and have worked hard to produce a self-titled debut album released on Flicker Records in March 2004. During these four years the boys have worked hard at making a respective fan base, touring most of the time and clocking up 300 shows in the past two years. Staple now live in Mechanicsburg, Ohio which is halfway between Columbus and Dayton and have a healthy reputation in both cities. Their style of melodic hardcore has been described as 'aggressive music against the steady dramatic stength of the vocals'.
Staple have a strong Christian faith and this is reflected in their music. read less
