Biography

Forming in 1995 in San Francisco, Skinlab wasted no time in releasing their first album 'Bound, Gagged and Blindfolded' and an EP followed close after. At this point the two original guitarists (Mike Roberts and Gary Wendt) left and were replaced by Snake and Scott Sergeant.

Things went quite for a couple of years but they then returned in 1999 with 'Disembody:The New Flesh' produced by Andy Sneap. Scott left just before the next album so had to be quickly replaced with Glen Telford (formerly of Los Angeles band Wired Shut). The new line up was solid.

'ReVolting Room' was released 2002. Produced by Steve Evetts and mixed by Andy Sneap it was seen as a turn around for Skinlab as it had a more nu-metal edge. A reVolting hotline was started so fans could vent any frustrations they had and samples were used on the album. read less
