They came across the ocean from Norway and started a tidal wave, gathering fans nightly.

HANGFACE, the band, is creating a music buzz that happens rarely in the over-saturated ears of America. They're a solid, cohesive act - hometown friends who exude a shared passion for good rock music, deliver vividly colorful melodies into textural hard rock, giving new meaning, substance and depth to what is being played today on the nation's airwaves. Critics say: "great drive, cool grooves, innate heaviness and sing-along melodies."

HANGFACE conjures up an eclectic mix of the best rock music gave us in the 70s, 80s and 90s - albeit in a post-2000 package. There's something here for everyone.

Their debut CD, Freak Show, was produced by the legendary Eddie Kramer, (Jimi Hendrix, KISS, Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Bowie, etc). "Hangface has the potential to become the next Big Thing with their guitar-based power rock, catchy melodies, strong arrangements and vocals," Kramer stated.

One thing is certain, Hangface gives fans the ultimate show experience wherever they perform. Whether the audience is into alternative rock, classic rock, or modern rock, music lovers of all ages are attracted to this stylish band's sound. To talk with them it is easy to surmise they are intelligent, well-mannered, serious musicians who happen to be fortunate enough to make up a rare package of talent, ambition, and most definitely, a combined combustion of excitement on stage. There's rock-star excitement and the thrill of knowing you've just discovered the next big thing in rock. They're wowing the crowds and winning new fans in droves. Yet, despite the star quality of the performances, you'll find these boys hanging out with their new American friends after the show.

The band's popularity has continued to grow, securing them dates on the same stage as superstars Pat Benatar, David Bowie, Alanis Morissette, Coldplay, No Doubt, Disturbed, Shinedown and Queensryche. The release of Freak Show, coincided with sold out venues on their Northern European Tour in May 2005. (U.S. Street Date for the album is winter 2005.)

The band members consider themselves very fortunate to have grown up in families who were supportive and active in music. Understanding the value of music in their own lives has led each band member to teach musical skills to others, especially children. "Having donated our time to teach music lessons and fostering this passion of music to kindergartners and 'special needs' youngsters gives us great insight into the compassion and appreciation for people and life," says Hangface drummer, Espen Høgmo. Their stories are heartwarming, showing a softer side of the five who have worked so hard to get where they are today.

Perhaps this is one of the reasons HANGFACE is taking every region by storm... It's all about their passion for music.

The horizon shines brightly for these five friends. It won't be long before they reach the summit of rock's hierarchy.
