Biography

Hailing from Ayr, Drive By Argument owe their existence to the luck of the draw in being selected to work together on a musical project at University. Long after the project finished, the band had developed a sound built on the mix of electro beats and guitar-led melodies. Fitting into virtually all the hip genres that seem to be about these days, the five-piece have developed a fanbase that has grown from local level to as far as New York, where the Rangers hockey team has utilised their limited edition single 'Sex Lines Are Expensive Comedy' as an unofficial anthem.

With 2007 featuring the band at Download and Rockness festivals, its likely that the band who were formed for a temporary basis may just become a permanent fixture in many peoples record collections. read less
