Biography

Peter Dolving the was recruited originally to sing on the band's self titled album while they were signed to Earache. After the release Dolving quit the band, citing that the 'life' was leading him down a self-destructive course.

2004, after the band had had two successful albums with vocalist Marco Aro and a new record deal to Century Media, Aro left the band. Faced with the upcoming release of their fourth album and knowing that it would mean at least two years of constant touring they were left without a frontman.
A joint decision to call Dolving up and ask him to rejoin was made and he agreed. Reasons he gave for rejoining were the fact that the band had asked him, which meant there was no bad blood between them and the fact that he was a lot stronger now. When he originally left he knew he was talk the promising band with him and felt he'd had no help from Earache, them not caring whether he lived or died. The new album 'rEVOLVEr' has quite a nihilistic view but Dolving says he's a lot more serious and focussed on the records and touring now.
