A Thousand Suns

Biography

A Thousand Suns came together in the winter of 2006, the three founding members; Dan, Tom and Joe had previously played together in other bands in the local scene. Even with the creation of a new sound the band were still lacking something. This problem was soon overcome with the addition of Super Gaz who instantly clicked with the band. In the past year they have played all over South Wales, sharing stages with up and coming bands such as Kill The Arcade, 12 Gauge Alliance, Working Class Heroes, Klay and Resonate.

A Thousand Suns recently entered the studio with highly regarded producer Romesh Dodangoda, who has worked with other South Wales heavyweights Kids In Glass Houses, Dopamine and The Blackout. With the band hardly having left the studio the tracks were being played on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio Wales. The band are currently preparing to launch their debut EP ‘DestroyCreate’with a launch party at the Cardiff Barfly on December 5th.
