Biography

In 1995 Jean-Benoit Dunckel and Nicholas Godin were both living in Paris playing in an alternative band called 'Orange'. But electronica took them over the next year and soon they were off on their own releasing tentative singles through James Lavelle's British label Mo' Wax. Producing music similar to Daft Punk, 'a blend of retro-futuristic electro-pop' the 1998 release of 'Moon Safari' and the single 'Sexy Boy' brought them out of the underground. read less
