The band have also played several summer festivals, playing to their biggest audience (around 400 – 500 people) at the Halesworth gig in the park in 2003.

The band are starting to gain a loyal fan base, using each gig as a way of gaining more members to their mailing list (so far the number of subscribers is 120). Having produced 3 E.P’s (the latest of which being plugged and promoted by Kaleidoscope Promotions UK, who have worked with Snow Patrol and Alanis Morissette), the band have managed to gain many positive reviews from radio DJ’s (Stephen Foster at BBC Radio Suffolk), newspapers (The East Anglian Daily Times and Evening Star), the music press (Logo Magazine and Black Velvet Rock Fanzine) and websites (www.unsignedcentral.com, www.demolandmusic.com and www.sonance.co.uk).

The bands major achievements so far include support slots with Dogs Die in Hot Cars and The Seers (the new band from Bonehead of Oasis fame). Hayze also made their first T.V appearance in 2004 on the Anglian News, which is shown through the whole of East Anglia. The segment was about up and coming bands in the area and how they have the potential to ‘make it big’. This was a great promotional tool for the band which led to the band gaining some useful contacts in the industry.
