Dark, moody and wonderfully expressive!

‘Doll Size’ is the fourth single from London-based hard rockers Slaves to Gravity. Taken from their smash hit album, ‘Scatter the Crow’, the tracks are dark, moody and wonderfully expressive.

Title track ‘Doll Size’ is a confidently lazy song; understated yet impressive. Middle track ‘Long Way Home’ is a powerful anthem with great, meaty guitar riffs that will fill listeners with vigour. Finally, ‘No Shame’ is smooth and melancholic, showing off Gleeson’s outstanding vocal skill.

Overall, ’Doll Size’ is an enjoyable CD that provides a great taste of what can be expected on the ‘Scatter the Crow’ album - great big chunky guitar riffs, expressive vocals and songs that are tinged with poignancy.

Slaves to Gravity are vocalist and lead guitarist Tommy Gleeson, bassist and backing vocalist Toshi Ogawa, drummer Jason Thomopoulos and guitarist Mark Verney, who also provides backing vocals. Despite only being formed in 2006, the band are already working on their second album • watch this space!
