Moscow Drive

Having founded a friendship in school, the fellas of Bromley four-piece Moscow Drive have a history playing in various other bands, but it was when they formed this one they knew they had all the makings of something people would remember.

‘Colossal’ is the first submission and takes the form of a sincere tune about love and what can be lost through falling into it headfirst. It doesn’t immediately kick off with some stunning melodies but gradually builds to its best parts. The verses are basically slow drumming and the occasional twang of a guitar while the chorus has a tad more beat to it. However, it is the chanting of “If you can't appreciate what you've got, you'd better get what you can appreciate” that really strikes a connection and an appreciation for the track.

The b-side is ‘Cincinnati’ and follows on a similar romantic path as its predecessor, but is far less energetic with a perfect ballad beginning but tends to take a slightly livelier path. This track will surely give Moscow Drive the foot in the door they need.
