The Wire Daisies produce the kind of beautiful music that floats effortlessly through life without offending anyone or anything. Treana Moris fronts this soaring cascade of lyrically mature music that is set to be released as the stunning 'Everyman' on the 28th of March. Maybe the lyrics could be described as miserable by cynics, but with that silken delivery the word melancholy would perhaps fit better.
Don't expect this song to leap off the radio and wrestle you to the ground until you submit to its power, because that isn't the way the Wire Daisies go about things. The Wire Daisies are all about creating a sleek style of music that will quietly make its point and then wait for you to make the move before allowing themselves a smile of satisfaction.
'Everyman' is one of their strongest live songs, and on record it is equally as stunning. The hypnotic swaying chorus, the infectious guitars and above all the curvaceous sound that is present on all of the Wire Daisies' music. Time and time again though, it all comes back to that sublime voice. It provides the main support for their music and yet, is at the forefront of the talent they offer. It's likely that this single will be cast aside for the time being, but one day the Wire Daisies will be a name on the lips of thousands.
