ACODA - Finding Your Feet
"Finding Your Feet" is a flawless debut single from Corby quartet ACODA. The melodic post-hardcore outfit, who have caused quite a stir in the underground metal scene, have created a deliciously detailed track which showcases the band's versatile sound.
Unafraid to flirt with different genres, 'Finding Your Feet' sees ACODA incorporate brutal beatdowns and explosive screams with magnificent melodies and captivating clean vocals.
The Northamptonshire four-piece, who could quite easily be the lovechild of Underoath and Akissforjersey, clearly have a talent for creating catchy tunes and the second track on the release 'Paint By Numbers' is as equally infectious. Admittedly the song is a little heavier than the debut single, but ACODA's musical diversity makes them all the more appealing.
If this solid and superb debut release is anything to go by, then the band's, as yet, untitled full-length, is going to be totally mind-blowing. ACODA are definitely ones to watch.
