Half Time Pies Not Included

"Red Dress" is the latest EP from Lanarkshire four piece, Rockburn. The guys have already been getting airplay on Scottish radio stations as well as having two of the tracks from the EP being played at both Liverpool and Celtic Football Clubs for the crowd to enjoy over their half time pies. Quite possibly may have been the highlight of the game for most Liverpool fans so far this season.

The five tracks show Rockburn are a band are happy to mix their styles up, which in this day and age is a nice treat, especially as all five tracks are played with quality and style that will see them go a long way.

The opening tracks, 'Red Dress' and 'Night On Fire' start the EP off with a blues rock feel, with the latter being a real foot tapper. 'Beautiful Morning' slows down proceedings and has female vocals added to those of lead singer Stephen Baxter's which work very well. 'The Last Stop' keeps the tempo slow before a classic rock style 'Wishing Well' brings up the rear.

Overall, this is one impressive EP, quality vocals, quality musicians, just quality.
