Raw, swinging blues
Welcome back to Texas..."Fire" has a big American blues sound, think of Meg White with added harmonica and you're almost there. Your typical blues guitar is accompanied by a bass drum about the size of Britain and a dirty guitar solo so deliciously grimy that you can tell we're out in the Big Country (although the band actually come from London). The tune's raw and really gets under your skin in a good way.
"I Saw You With Her" is a little more streamlined and poppy with a funky tune showing off singer Rebecca's expressive voice. Rhythmic piano and chatty guitar go together perfectly in this catchy, energetic, 80's sounding melody.
"The Vitamins" are just what the doctor ordered: bright, soulful and infectious.
