Exit Wounds.

Cut from the same cloth as bands like In Flames, Meshuggah and Soilwork, Sweden's Construcdead release their first EP. It was recorded at Fear And Loathing Studios (Meshuggah and Clawfinger) and produced by Jocke Skog of fellow rockers Clawfinger.

A re-mastered song, 'Wounded' started out on 'Violadead', the band's debut album from last year and it's got the melody and crunch of In Flames.

First of the three brand new songs recorded for this EP, 'Human Harvest' has the brutality of early Fear Factory and the down-tuned crunch of Meshuggah to match. 'Misery' has a chunky bass line to complement the raw vocals of Peter Tuthill, whilst 'Save Me' has a Slayer tempo with impressive breakdowns to boot.

Call it what you will- Tech metal, math metal... post-industrial metal. Regardless of what label you could put the band under, this EP is crushingly heavy and a step in the right direction for the Swedish quartet.
