Two seriously good melodic hardcore bands have come together on this split 7", both have the ability to induce swelling of the heart and head nodding with scrunched up eyes and clenched fists so you are already expecting this will be a heady ride, and yes, it is.
Pianos Become The Teeth are up first with a really anthemic tune; vocals sound almost on the edge of tears, warbling with vibrato, and the overall sound of the track is one rich with guitars and emotion, full, intense and addictive. Touche Amore's contribution has a brilliant bass line, melodic and slightly mournful; along with the raw, emotion packed and melodic vocals it sucks you in completely.
