Millionaire's 'I'm On A High' is a taster for their forthcoming album (Paradisiac), which follows on September 26th. Produced by Joshe Homme of QOTSA, it's no surprise that they fall under the wide umbrella of 'stoner rock'.

There's a big full sound to this and plenty going on outside the confines of the basic riff. Whilst pretty heavy, it also has a real groove about it, thumping along in hypnotic style whilst a multitude of swooshes and bleeps cascade over the top. Some nice breaks give it a bit of variety and prevent it from becoming something of a drone piece. The vocals are a touch quirky and blend in well, overall it's a good song that definitely grows on you after a few plays.

Second track 'Messed Up and Beautiful' is an altogether darker affair, again it's multi-layered, but this time with an ominous foreboding feel. Not as catchy or as likeable as the title track, it lacks the variety and becomes rather monotonous after a while.

'I'm On A High' should see Millionaire build further on their ever growing reputation and it will be interesting to see if the album can maintain this high standard.
