Are you sick of all-girl bands with their endless manufactured music, that all sounds the same. Well this is one girl band that does not fit the usual concept of a girl band. These girls have attitude by the bucket load. Welcome to the debut EP from McQueen ‘Like I Care/You Leave Me Dead.
The release of this debut EP goes hand in hand with the tour they are doing in September and October supporting The Holiday Plan. It is hard to believe that this band only formed in late 2003, they are ferocious rockers and a welcome refreshing band.
This fresh sounding Brighton based group hit you between the eyes with ‘Like I Care’ before moving into another decent rock track, ‘You Leave Me Dead’. I shudder to think who they are singing about, but who cares? It makes for fabulous music, and a great sound, and goes to prove that females don’t have to join a pop outfit; they can get together and rock like the best of them!
Great debut EP for those of us that like good old fashioned rock, nice, hard and loud. Go out and buy this EP today.
