Play loud and enjoy.

Mixing metal axe with rock solos and blow-your-mind-away vocals (this is “strut your stuff” metal with a hint of anthem) ‘Violate’ opens the assault upon your ears before moving on to “Near Extinction”, where against a backdrop of a soaring fountain of guitars the lyrics of hit you like sledge hammers.

‘Suck On These Words’ has heavy caliber bullets of sound, fired from axes which shockingly have a punctuation of acoustic work after a ray gun like solo make this a joy to bang your head to.

Slowing the pace a bit ‘Paralysed’ is still metal all the way with excellent axe work. And in ‘Chez Wrong’ a freaky electro start meets metal before melting into the song that is destined to be the crowd chanter from this album and deservedly so.

Then fast and furious, ‘Born Freaks’ hits the boards running and doesn’t stop! It twists and turns through metal and classic rock with style. Followed by ‘Fall’; 52 seconds of breathing space that comes just before… Bang! Back to metal rock mayhem with ‘Friend Turned Enemy’. Once again reflecting this bands ability to produce several layers of music at once, and make it work.

‘Last Hope’ and ‘A Price On Your Head’ are both brain bashers with heavy guitar and drum work that hits hard, scrambles your head and hits hard again. There’s blood, sweat and guts in these numbers. ‘Smile’ has thrashing sounds, soaring solos and stop start rhythms that are so fast you only just realise they’re there.

After the cultured start which is disturbing enough, “The Wolves Are Hungry” is another vicious number. This roller coaster fires all guns and like some runaway tank mows down everything in its path.

If The More I See had been around in the 80’s then a whole bunch of bands that are now hero’s in their own right, would have been playing support to them. Add bass work like a ‘Black Hawk’s’ guns, drums that make thunder sound like a whisper, mix with axe rhythms and solos to create a steamrolling sound. There is more potential air guitar material on this album than many other bands can lay claim to in a lifetime.
