A Million Ways...

The thumping, up-tempo blues beat to this song holds it all together with great drum work being the mainstay of it. As usual with The Features there is still that feeling of suppressed energy, particularly from Pelham's vocals especially the snarling in the latter part, which sounds as if he's trying to eat the microphone. Don't forget the great guitar work.

The way the song kicks off is quite clever as it uses a couple of seconds of low background noise to make it seem as if someone has just turned a stereo on loud the moment the music starts.

The band just slams into the song. The ending is also as dramatic, and this works so well it leaves you panting for more. This is a great track for the repeat button.

There maybe a million ways to sing the blues- this is certainly one of them.
