Tango-tronic pioneers Gotan Project are releasing the 10" of 'Diferente' as a precursor to their much-anticipated second album 'Lunatico' (named, out of interest, after tango hero Carlos Gardel's champion racehorse of the 1930s). The track is as smooth as you like and reminiscent of the beauty of Latino groovetress Bebel Gilberto in terms of the singing and, in terms of the musicality, its hypnotically infectious beyond belief.
The other new track featured 'Domingo' is a lovely piece of music that's both chillingly refreshing and warmly familiar, hotly tipped to be a favourite amongst your chillout tunes collection. All together Gotan Project provide a groove so cool that trying to resist falling down at its feet is rendered futile.
