'Bible, Torah and Koran' this download single from 'Headland' is guaranteed to get you up and shimmying, with its squidgy little noises and unfeasibly danceable beat. Quirky is definitely the name of the game; the lyrics are ...odd, but amusing at times and there are plenty of manic little bleeps and blops in the background to keep you listening. As well as the electro element there is the dark sounding bass and guitar, they have a deceptively warm and lo-fi feel, but are probably just produced to sound fuzzy and scratchy.
The single really fires up with the chorus; when that dirty, sexy, fuzzy bass sound and the electro spiked with a spicy psychedelic beat really kicks in there is no way that you can stay in your seat. A serious dance floor filling disco tune but with enough interest to keep you listening even after the party has long finished.
