Father - Inspirita
It's not often that I receive a CD to review by a Croatian rock band, so to be honest when 'Inspirita' by Father came through I wasn't really sure what to expect.
Having played with premiere bands like Anthrax and The Hives I knew 'Inspirita' had to be pretty darn good, and thankfully it was. The first thing you notice is how good Miheal Prosen English is, there is not even a slight hint that he is European. 'Inspirita' feature two tracks from Father's upcoming debut album. First up is the impressive 'Cynosure' followed by the equally as good 'Machina'. Father make a fine piece of alternative metal, and although influenced by Tool and Pantera, this five piece band do not scream their lungs out, which is a pleasant surprise.
If you want to listen to a refreshing blend of happy metal then you should definitely check these guys out.
