A Surefire Hit
'Joker And The Thief' marks the end of a mammoth year for Wolfmother. The single coincides with the release of the Jackass 2 Movie, after catching the ears of Johnny Knoxville who quickly made 'Joker And The Thief' the lead track on the movie.
Front man Andrew Stockdale plays some blinding guitar solos on this track and seems set for 'guitar hero' fame. This epic song sounds like it could have come straight from a White Stripes back catalogue and you would be forgiven for getting the two bands muddled up. This power-pushing trio can really play their instruments and sound really tight as a band.
I think this is just the beginning of Wolfmother and they will soon be a household name. 'Joker And The Thief' is bound to be a hit.
