Feel good Indie

Are Sheffield kids Little Man Tate try to shake off their Northern heritage with a new penchant for the exotic? Oh no, the band's social comment will never rise from beyond the battered working class streets, but that's the way we like them, as the glorious tongue in cheek line, "Our mum's got chatting in the village store" kicks off a rollicking good tune. "It's written on the wall that you're sexy in Latin," drawl the band above jaunty guitars and a flood of feelgood indie.

The song is much like the twee, everyday situations that the band twists into cool tales; nothing too complex, but it's a comfy stable to stick on the stereo and sing along to.
