A big big mess?

Its clunky, it sounds huge and less than half a decade ago it would have been deemed as "indie" as Mansun but nowadays this brand of chugging rock and slightly more eloquent vocals qualifies as a strand of hard-rock / metal or whatever genre name the whole shebang is hiding behind these days. Lets just admit it, this is as commercial and as poppy as virtually anything else these days, all beautifully packaged up to appeal to the wallets of the kids also shelling out for wallet chains and eyeliner.

Theres a snarling big finish from William Beckett but theres not a lot of bite on show here but that's okay, no one wants to scare anyone off.

And yes, 'a big big mess on our hands' will be conveyed in schools as implying that the bands hands are smeared in some form of excrement, so that's going to add some more puerile humour element to it, so that's can't be bad at all. A singalong chorus and a poo joke, the kids are going to lap this single right up
