Kingskin - Humpin Mojo
They won the titile of best unsigned band in Kerrang! and have received rave reviews from Q and Mojo, now Kingskin are releasing a brand new EP 'Humpin Mojo'.
Opening track 'In The Way' is home to impressive guitar riffs and husky vocals, the fast paced track sets the scene for the rest of this EP. Kingskin have a unique sound which stops them from being pigeonholed. Their music sounds like it should have come out in the early 90s when grunge was at its peak.
Kingskin's musical talent is noticeable from the outset as 'Humpin Mojo' is home to some very funky riffs that you know weren't easy to play. This EP is home to five great and very varied song, each song has a completely different sound to the song it follows.
Kingskin are far enough removed from the mainstream to give them individuality from the hoards of other bands out there. This is a short and sharp introduction to a band that's well worth watching.
