A slow electro anthem, 'Divebomb' is billed as an indie dance tune, only it seems to be rather missing any elements that would traditionally be labelled as indie. What we're left with is a grungey dance tune with an insistent pulse and sharp synth stylings. It's 3 minutes of dirty dance-pop that will rattle around in your brain enough to give you a headache with its seemingly random crescendo of curious elements, from phaser sounds to vocoder vocals.
It's a real shame as this band have proved from earlier tunes that they do have a gritty edge that has simply been buried by beats in 'Divebomb'. It may be a good dance tune that you could get raving too, but it lacks the promised indie side and would cause most to merely dive for cover at an indie or rock event.
