Great Dance Tune
Dirty Hands is the debut single from Moonshot. This is a guitar stomper of a track with an added techno style bounce sound, and occasional electric guitar. To be honest it is a little confusing to listen to – is it a dance track, a rock track or what?! At times it seems like a jumble of noises rather than an actual song. It does however create an energising sound through overlapping elements of pop, dance, rock and indie, producing sounds that are quite unique diverse and original
The vocals are quiet and calm for much of the song - very smooth. The lyrics are quite good, with their predictable yet enjoyable rhymes. This is a catchy and tune is an attractive chorus that will have you up on your feet. Within the band each of the three members equally get involved with writing, singing, performing and producing the tracks. Therefore there are combined elements on each section of the track that make it memorable and all come together to sound like a great dance tune.
