The Mexicolas - Shame

Most people hit their twenties and ask themselves - where did my dreams and aspirations go. For these lucky lads, they are about to have their dreams come true with the release of their debut track, 'Shame.'

A band with an original name also comes some unique sounding tracks. This debut offering is well written and is an original sounding tune, with deep and powerful melodies, alongside wise and soulful vocals from Jamie Evans, who also plays guitar and keys. Then there is an outstanding underpinning baseline from bass/double bassist Del Carter, and Tim Trotter on drums and percussion.

With all these various sounds pilled in, listeners are given a great rock tune with originality and creativeness that will have you believing the band have been together for years. Expect to be a little surprised; taken back; excited and ready to jam with this debut track. Remember the Mexicolas – they are name to watch for the next few months.
