Long live youthful bliss!

Looking at the press shot of 4 coiffed young teens would in no way prepare you for the glistening, emotional vocals that burst out in the first lines of, 'Did I Say', a song so sleek and epic that it counters and grimy and depressive realism of their (slightly older) British peers Arctic Monkeys. Long live youthful bliss! Infact their b-side and former is even called, 'Innocent', a dynamic pop tune with fresh guitars and seismic vocals.

'Did I Say' is a minimalist concoction of uplifting guitar chords with a heavy heartbeak of percussion mirroring the mourning vocals bound up in regret, "Did I say that I miss you?", although there's a typically inspiring bright chorus. In the same vein as The Calling, Pinstripe are likely to be a guilty pleasure openly praised by teenage girls, but treated as a shameless moment of frivolity for most rock fans. Probably mostly because they're too embarrassed by the talent of a band aged 16/17.
