LR Rockets – Personality
LR rockets are four hyped up, absurdly named lads that offer a...weird and rather interesting sound. With names like Lemon Pie, The Face, The Judge and Lukelear Bomb, it is no wonder 'Personality' sounds like a bizarre tangle of sounds, lyrics and vocals.
The opening has smooth guitars which when added to the electric ones form a good partnership. Then the crazed vocals kick in and boy are they strange. "I'm such a nice boy" being screamed followed by "you know I'm totally sane" – that I would like documental proof on before I believe it. They are screaming, which when added to the backing vocals are all placed together to form a mix of electric rock with some rather strange sounds embedded underneath the layers.
This is a strange one as the vocals are rugged and the sounds are an unlikely mix, yet, the track in its entirety works very well together and is a very interesting listen.
