A barren landscape.

As usual we get the standard cheeky indie pop with jangly guitars and a mildly bouncy chorus from Boy Kill Boy, but as usual, it doesn't really go anywhere, and there is the tendency to drift off and think about something else while it's on.

This single does have some nice riffs and a decent bass line but it's a touch repetitive and the lazy summary vibe of the melody is a bit too laid back and doesn't hook you in like a pop song should. There's nothing wrong with 'No Conversation' as such, but it's very generic. With no distinctive, specifically Boy Kill Boy touches to make it jump out at you, this becomes a tune that could be by any British band of the moment. Overall, the sound is bland and featureless; with no quirks or rough edges it feels like there's something missing somewhere.
