The Indelicates - America
The Indelicates are a UK based band who have been creating a stir throughout the country with their blend of Folk Rock, Indie and punk. Their intelligent lyrics are dreamt up through the minds of Simon and Julia Indelicate, both poets who met at a poetry slam prior to forming the band in 2005.
The new single “America” is taken from their long awaited debut album “American Demo” and is truly refreshing to listen to. The Band is led by Simon (Guitar & Vocals) and Julia (Piano & Vocals) and both vocals are excellent and certainly compliment the political nature of their music. Julia’s voice is somewhat haunting and instantly recognisable whereas Simon has the driving and powerful voice which adds grunt to their great dynamic.
“America” is a great track which is up-beat and powerful, but when this is joined with B-Side “No-Religion” and the third track of the single “The Last Bombed City” it becomes a knockout combination. Their political views carried by diverse music and unique voices make this release inspiring.
