Sick City Club

Sick City Club have been together since December of 2007 and since that time have gigged all across the country. The writing duo of Alex Marshall and Lucas Coe met through a music website and following this recruited the remainder of the band from university. Based in Birmingham they have spent their time gigging and expanding their fan base in the surrounding areas.

Sign Of The Times is a two track single recorded by Gavin Monaghan (Editors/The Twang) at Magic Garden Studios in January 2008.

The two tracks “Sign Of The Times” and “Anarchy” are written about the bands feelings of society today and the journey they have been on when moving away to university. The songs are well written and presented very well on CD. The band seem to fit together excellently combining their fast paced rhythms and sounds with the dry vocals of lead singer Alex.

Sick City Club do seem to be similar to many of the indie rock bands which swarm the music scene today, which may be their drawback. However if you are a fan of fast paced indie rock with a splash of punk sensibilities thrown in for good measure then check out Sick City Club.
