Maple State - For The Temperate Lives
Manchester quintet The Maple State follow up the release of their mini album; ‘Say, Scientist’ with their new single ‘For The Temperate Lives’.
The song is moving and delicate, it is pretty simple but it builds into a fairly large chorus that really suits the track, but doesn’t change the feeling behind it. The song has a simple verse-chorus format but I feel that it helps to power the song and it seems to show off the band’s song writing maturity.
‘For The Temperate Lives’ is engrossing but chart-friendly, it definitely has a wide appeal and is bound to give The Maple State boys a much stronger fan base. This is a cracking single and I can’t wait to hear the full-length album they are currently writing.
